I am a California native, born in San Diego but as a Navy brat, moved all around the country and world, including a three year stint in Japan. I learned how to adapt quickly and easily to new people, places and things. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism and a minor in English. I moved back to San Diego for 10 years until shortly after the birth of my daughter, when my husband and I decided to move to Charlotte, NC so I could be a stay-at-home mom.

As I looked for a way to have a fulfilling job and still be home with my daughter, I was very fortunate to stumble upon Virtual Assistance and AssistU. After completing a demanding 20-week training course and comprehensive exam, I now have the best of both worlds: I have an exciting and fulfilling career and am still able to be there for my daughter around the clock.

As a Virtual Assistant, I love to write, edit and do research on the Internet. I love to be organized, learn new things and brainstorm ideas with clients. I work best with a list and there is an undeniable satisfaction in checking something off that list!

I have over 20 years of administrative and professional experience. Before making the excellent choice to become a VA, I spent seven years working for a television station as both a sales assistant and a research analyst. Before that, I was a marketing/editorial assistant for a small publisher and a production assistant for a television and movie studio.

What else do you need to know about me? I love 80s music, cupcakes, laughing until it hurts, and have what has been called an "unnatural" knowledge of movies and movie trivia. I find myself reading five books at once and have the insatiable curiosity of a child. I love geography and can't wait to travel the world once again!
